Running along I-93, this surface road has served as a major business artery from Medford to Boston for centuries.  Mystic Avenue offers convenient retail and financial services and is the home to the award-winning Somerville Housing Authority and next to Foss Park and the Mystic River Boathouse. 

 

Today, the area is the focus of a major new mixed-use develpment spearheaded by the Somerville Community Corporation.   © 2006-2008
